About the Work

The Block is a portrait of a neighborhood rather than a person. Rows of buildings lean together under a burning gold sky, windows lit and rooftops crowded, every one with a story of its own. BUA reminds us that community is the first classroom, and that the places we come from shape the art we make.

Music is more than sound.
It’s a bridge to a brighter tomorrow.
